Crafted By Hand

This coming weekend I will be at Crafted By Hand in Masham. It is one of  my favourite events, there's a great atmosphere, a wide range and mix of  high quality craftwork. I'm glad I discovered Masham, it's a wonderful place to visit.

Saltaire Makers Fair Special

Autumn is coming - and it's time for the Makers Fair Special. The Fair is part of the Saltaire Festival which is held every year to celebrate Titus Salts birthday. Many happy returns!

Although the Fair is on the Saturday and Sunday, this year I will be only be showing my work on Saturday 13th of September. For more detail of what's occurring  please check this link - Makers Fair Special 2014.

I saw this when I visited the Geffrey Museum in Shoreditch.
It's a big painting - about 2 metres high.

Getting Sorted

This week I've been starting to get down to some serious work. I need to restock, and I've got some interesting commissions that need my attention. Tomorrow I'm taking a selection of my work to Holmfirth for  an exhibition that's part of  Holmfirth  Artweek. It's being organised by Dionne Swift, the Textile Artist.

Industrial

Yesterday I visited the Bradford Industrial Museum. I needed to do some research  for a commission I'm working on. We spent the morning wandering around the museum photographing gears, linkages and handles.Wonderful!
